Eric Mayfield is a music producer, art designer, and graphic designer born and raised in Southern California. He grew up in Watts then moved to the suburbs as a teenager.

"I'm a deep thinker, and I'm very passionate about my sound and the work I create."

Mayfield likes to work with artists and help them develop themselves. He tries to be as creative as possible with his work, while at the same time making sure he gives 110% in making sure the quality meets his standards. Music to Mayfield is more than a job, its his life, its a lifestyle. It's forever growing and changing and that's part of the reason why he's so attracted to music and the work he creates.

 

His goals are to start a music producers collective like 808 Mafia and the Justice League, and teach other producers what he know and collaborate to get on other streaming platforms. Mayfield plans to build an awesome brand which is Eric Mayfield and Mayfield Sound and also have an amazing team behind him, which is already coming into fruition.

 

He sees myself as a person who stands out, and is constantly growing and improving himself everyday.

2008

 

I was about 13 when I first got inspired to make music. I had heard a song on the radio and I fell in love with the production, and thought to myself I want to do this. I want to capture this feeling. The song was T.I - Whatever You Like 

 

Between this time and when I first started making music my life was up and down, I had no way of getting into music and had no idea where to start.

 

2012

 

At age 17, I made my first beats over the summer of 2012. I learned the basics off YouTube and since then have experimented and developed my own ways and methods.

 

2018

 

I've never been more excited and inspired about the future of my career and music. I'm ready to take on the world I feel like the culture could greatly benefit from my ideas and production.
