The Black Girls in Media conference went down Saturday, August 20th in Atlanta, Georgia and was full of women supporting women.
The all day conference brought together women in media from all over that participated in panel discussions, networking events, and cool performances.
Speakers for the event were some of the best in the business: Jazmin Griffith, Elizabeth Smith, Deputy Editor of Travel Noire Sidnee Michelle, Dominque Webb, Brianna Weaver, and MTV communications Lauren Paige Woulard.
Black Girls in Media was founded by Tasha Mackk a freelance publicist based in Los Angeles whom God has used as a vessel for women looking to begin or further their career in the media industry.
